Your personalized consultation with Dr. Kahler is intended to provide you with information that will help you make an informed decision about a potential cosmetic procedure. Your initial consultation will include an in-depth discussion on the best treatment options for you.

• Current and past medical history (i.e., asthma, heart disease, diabetes, etc.)
• Previous surgical history
• Pregnancy history
• Current medications (or recently taken medications)
• Any herbal remedies or herb products (i.e., Ginseng, Gingko, St. Johns’ Wort, Kava kava, Garlic, Evening Primrose, etc.)
• Use of any diet supplements currently or within the recent past. (i.e., phentermine, ephedrine, herbal diet supplements, etc.)
• Nicotine exposure of any kind (i.e., smoking, nicotine patch, or nicotine gum)
• Aspirin intake. This will include aspirin containing products and duration of aspirin use.
• Diet and exercise program
• Photo Identification and Insurance Card/Cards

At the time of your visit, a physical examination will also be performed to assess the source of your concerns. You may be asked to remove clothing that covers the area or areas you wish to discuss. You may leave your under-garments on and a gown will be provided for your privacy and convenience. Your initial findings at the time of evaluation will be carefully documented and assessed. Please know that you may see a Physician Extender (Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse) during some of your follow-up visits (routine suture removal, etc.).
