For Cosmetic Procedures

Cosmetic Consultations range from $50 to $125 which is due at the time of the consultation. A global fee quote is given to the patient regarding any specified procedure desired. The global fee quote includes Dr. Kahler’s Surgical Fee, the Facility Fee, Recovery Room Costs, Anesthesia Charges, Nursing Services, Pre-Operative visit, Post-Operative visits for 6 months, Garments & Dressings, and Implant Costs, if needed. Please note this quote does not include charges for necessary pre-operative tests, if required, or for prescription medications needed around the time of surgery. (ex: mammogram, lab work, x-rays, medical clearance, etc.). We will honor the Surgical Fee Quote for twelve months from the date of the consultation.

A ten percent (10%) deposit is required at the time you schedule your surgery to reserve your surgery date. The remaining balance is due at your Pre-Operative Appointment which is usually scheduled two to three (2-3) weeks before your surgery date. The initial deposit may be retained by West Georgia Center for Plastic Surgery if you cancel your surgery for a non-emergency reason.

Medicine is by its very nature an inexact science. Therefore, revisions or enhancements to the original surgical procedure are sometimes recommended by Dr. Kahler or desired by the patient. Revision surgery is rare, but sometimes necessary. If the revision is performed within the first six (6) months following the initial surgery, only anesthesia and supplies will be charged to you. If the revision is requested more than six (6) months following the initial surgery, additional professional and/or facility fees may apply as well. These fees will be discussed on a case by case basis.

West Georgia Center for Plastic Surgery does not bill insurance for any cosmetic procedures.

For Reconstructive Procedures

West Georgia Center for Plastic Surgery does participate with various insurance companies including Aetna, Coventry National, First Health, Private HealthCare Systems and Medicare. Please contact our office for your specific insurance plan since our contracts can change. We do not participate with any HMO plans.

If we do not participate with your insurance company, please contact our Patient Insurance Advocate to discuss your options.

At this time we do not participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia due to the lack of response from BCBS regarding our contract negotiation. We will be happy to provide services to you on an out-of-network basis. If you have specific questions regarding your insurance, please contact our Patient Insurance Advocate at 770-834-6302.

For NuVea MedSpa Services

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. NuVea MedSpa accepts CASH, CHECK, VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS. NuVea MedSpa also accepts Gift Cards issued through West Georgia Center for Plastic Surgery or NuVea MedSpa.
